На ужине также будут присутствовать конгрессмены и послы государств, преимущественно тех, где большая часть жителей исповедует ислам. В частности, в Белый дом приглашены послы Казахстана, Саудовской Аравии, Афганистана, Пакистана, Индонезии, Турции, Малайзии. Интересно, что на ужин по случаю Рамадана приглашены послы Великобритании, Франции, Германии и Израиля. Всего в списке приглашенных около 70 дипломатов, чиновников и религиозных деятелей.
Ужин станет последним для Обамы официальным мероприятием на этой неделе. В среду утром он отправится в государственную резиденцию в Кэмп-Дэвиде, где проведет остаток отпуска. Пресс-служба президента сообщила, что у Обамы до понедельника не намечается никаких публичных мероприятий.
